SPA makes it easier and less costly for you to design, develop, deploy and operate your software on the Sun platform - so you can shorten time to market and grow your business. - Marketing
SPA offers marketing resources to broaden your reach and increase the efficiency and cost-effectiveness of your marketing efforts by allowing you to make use of Sun's considerable experience and resources. - Sales
Your go-to-market efforts can be taken to the next level by tapping into Sun's sales organisation, with privileged access to expertise across the organisation and expanded teaming opportunities with other programme participants. - Education
SPA helps build your competence and keep abreast of the latest tools, technologies and topics of interest in your industry - helping you to stay ahead of your competitors.
Eligibility: Independent software vendors (ISVs) and other technology companies who create products and/or services that extend, enhance, complement, interoperate or integrate with Sun technologies that result in a solution sold to customers may apply for membership in the Sun Partner Advantage Programme.
These companies include all ISVs (or one of the following business types) who have a commercially available product or service that runs on Sun:
- Commercial developers - Independent hardware vendors (IHVs), global solution providers (GSPs), value added integrators (VAIs), original equipment manufacturers (OEMs)
- Integrators - System integrators and eIntegrators (SIs)
- Service providers - Internet service providers (ISPs), application service providers (ASPs), commerce service providers (CSPs), network service providers (NSPs), portal and web application developers
- Solution providers - Web designers, consultants, trainers
