System Requirements

Below is the summary of software and hardware required for IBM Personal Communications. For more details, see Supported Platform Details.

Microsoft Windows®	32 and 64-bit* *PCOMM SNA sessions are not supported for 64-bit OS versions. No native 64-bit support.	System unit Workstations with a 486 microprocessor (or higher). A Pentium microprocessor is strongly recommended. If Personal Communications is to be locally installed, the workstation must also have a DVD-ROM drive. Memory and fixed storage capacity Minimum RAM: 128 MB; Recommended: 256 MB A minimum of 180 MB of fixed disk space is recommended. Additional space may be required depending on the installation option.
