Last week IBM and VMware announced a  “Strategic Partnership to Accelerate Enterprise Hybrid Cloud Adoption”

This is important for all IBM and VMware customers.  Now you can leverage the service expertise and Cloud experience from IBM to move current (and future) VMware builds off premise.  Most importantly it protects any existing investments for customers that are currently looking to invest in Cloud.

IBM’s news statement underlines this:

“The new agreement will enable enterprise customers to easily extend their existing workloads, as they are, from their on-premises software-defined data center to the cloud.”
