IBM ILOG Elixir Enterprise offers the following broad categories of user interface controls

• Diagrams are used to show objects and their interconnections, and are commonly used in enterprise level applications. Typical uses include flowcharts, organization charts, network topologies, process modelers, web site viewers, etc.
  The product includes a collection of sophisticated services for rendering, organizing and interacting with diagram displays. It includes the most popular graph layout algorithms that automatically rearrange the objects and their interconnections, even with very large diagrams (e.g., thousands of elements). Additional services, such as swimlanes and subgraphs, help ensure the diagram the elements are organized for maximum readability.
  Also included is a specialized diagram display, an organization chart, used to display a business employee hierarchy.
• Schedule displays are specialized types of time-based charts (Gantt charts) used to show how a business resources are allocated over time. The product includes both task-oriented displays, typically used in project management applications, and resource-oriented displays, used for planning applications.
• Charts are a classic display type used to depict a series of data points and can be used to show historical (static) data or updating data. The product includes a variety of 3D charts that complement the 2D charts that Adobe provides. In addition, the product includes radar charts, which are used to compare key performance indicators; treemap charts, an innovative analysis display for detecting trends and outliers in very large data sets; and a Pivot chart service.
• Maps show where data points or assets are physically located. The product includes a vector map display capability, for depicting attributes in their correct geographic positions, and heat maps, to show how data is distributed over a region.
• Calendars and timelines are another set of displays that show how events are organized, either in the familiar day/week/month view or as a linear sequence of events. The product supports many variations of each of these.
• Dials and Gauges show the current values of key performance indicators (KPIs). The product includes a wide variety that are all fully interactive and connectable to real-time data.
