WebSphere Front Office V3.1 offers new feed handlers and platform enhancements:

  • Embedded feed handler capability
  • Feed handler and repeating field performance improvements
  • Platform and toolkit enhancements including book-by-level support, forced publishing support,API grid and Solaris x86 support
  • Consumability enhancements including improved symbol mapping, additional timestamp monitoring capability, a new callout application programming interface sample, the ability to start Windows applications as Windows services, and improved documentation
  • Serviceability enhancements include expanded SNMP MIB availability, ability to detect and correct crossed order books, and message field access through WebSphere Front Office APIs Also included are timestamp insertion for end-to-end latency measurements, improved status message performance, and improved configuration logging

The following new and enhanced feed handlers for WebSphere Front Office for Financial Markets 1 are now available:

  • New Feed Handler for CEF Ultra+ Irish Stock Exchange Level 1
  • New Feed Handler for CEF Ultra+ Irish Stock Exchange Level 2
  • Added multicast feed support for the Chi-X Europe Feed Handler
