* The minimum configuration can support a single ASR and TTS engine in a development environment. For a production environment, make sure you analyze your hardware capabilities and requirements and make adjustments as necessary.


** By default, WVS will install the best voice available for the language you select. You can run WVS in 2GB if you change the default installation configuration to load only one non-5th generation voice



*** Allows for one male and one fifth generation voice; however, your disk space requirements will vary depending on the voices you plan to install.

An installed version of Eclipse 3.2 with Web Tools Platform 1.5.2, running in a Java 1.5.0 Runtime Environment (all included in IBM Rational SDP 7.0).

Microsoft Windows XP (Service Pack 1, or later)

An installed version of the Rational Software Development Platform 6.0.1. This includes Rational Web Developer (RWD), Rational Application Developer (RAD), or Rational Software Architect (RSA). The Installation program will not permit installation on any other platform.

800 MB minimum free disk space (in addition to the disk space requirement for RAD/RWD/RSA), plus additional space for the installation options selected by the user

For installation, an additional 800 MB temporary space on the drive specified in your user TMP environment variable
