Oracle have announced that they are currently working on a new low cost M7 based processor called Sonoma. This new chip is a cut down version of the T7 processor currently found in the T7-Servers. The main difference is the inclusion of 8 cores rather than the 32 Cores available in Oracle current servers.
The additional of on-board InfiniBand enables the connection of lots of small low-cost SPARC servers to work together to build scale-out private / public SPARC server farms.
This CPU is considered by many as 100% hack-proof : http://www.theregister.co.uk/2015/10/28/oracle_sparc_m7/
