Rational Policy Tester Quality Edition

IBM Rational Policy Tester helps ensure Web site compliance across corporate Web properties. It is a Web-based system that consists of a core platform that handles scanning, database storage, administration and reporting, and optional modules to report on a variety of issues.

The Quality module reports on:

• Content Defects: Locates site defects that directly affect visitor success, such as broken links, spelling errors, and broken anchors.

• Interaction Problems: Tests user interactions, such as forms and checkout processes, to verify that they're working as intended.

• Page Efficiency: Provides an analysis on the overall page efficiency of the site such as slow loading pages, multiple warnings and redirects, as well as usability issues such as deep pages, and missing height and width attributes on images.

• Search and Navigation: Most Internet users will try a new search if they aren't satisfied with the listings they find within the first three pages of results. This report provides an analysis of critical search and navigation elements.

• Custom Quality Standards: As needed, IBM’s Professional Services team will work with you to create any additional, custom reports required by your organization's internal standards policies.
